Global 5000
The Bombardier Global 5000 has been in production for over 15 years. Originally announced in 2001, the first aircraft flew in March 2003. Deliveries started two years later. There are currently around 250 Global 5000 aircraft in active service. The Global 5000 is based on the Bombardier Global Express aircraft but features a reduction in cabin length. The Global 5000 is capable of journeys such as London to Mumbai and Paris to Chicago. Designed to carry up to 16 passengers on long-range flights, Bombardier says that the “Global 5000 aircraft was designed to help you get things done”. The perfect environment for business meetings, sleeping, and relaxing.

Range & Speed
The Global 5000 is powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710A2-20 turbofan engines. Each engine is capable of putting out 14,750 lbs of thrust. Therefore, the Global 5000 can take off with just 5,540 feet of runway in front of it. The minimum landing distance comes in at just 2,207 feet. Impressive numbers for such a large aircraft.
